Jenny Sue Flannagan
Jenny Sue Flannagan began her career in education in 1992 as an 8th grade physical science teacher in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Since then, she has taught science at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, served as curriculum coordinator for elementary and middle school science, and currently is the Director of the Martinson Center for Mathematics and Science at Regent University. She has won several awards including the Sally Mae National First Year Teacher Award and the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching in 1999.
Jenny Sue received her Doctor of Education Degree in Adult Learning and Staff Development in May, 2007 from Regent University. She earned her Education Specialists degree in Administration and Supervision and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an endorsement in General Science II and Earth/Space Science from Longwood University in May of 1992. She also holds an endorsement in gifted education.
