Ron Nash and Associates, Inc.

Making it Memorable Workshop: March 30, 2012
This workshop is for anyone in any school or central office who trains teachers, support staff, substitute teachers,  or administrators, either occasionally or on a regular basis.

Based on Ron’s book, The Active Workshop: Practical Strategies for Facilitating Professional Learning (2010), this five-hour workshop is intended to demonstrate how professional development can be made more meaningful, enjoyable, and impactful. If you have teacher leaders who train your staff members on occasion, this workshop will help them engage their participants and provide more lasting impact in face-to-face presentations and seminars. Ron will model dozens of strategies in this interactive and fun workshop.

Making it Memorable will be held at the beautiful Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond. The workshop venue is the Education and Learning Center on the Lewis Ginter property, a beautiful setting at any time of year, but particularly in early spring! We will provide 75 minutes for lunch, time enough to eat and walk through the buildings and pathways of the botanical garden.

The registration fee is $135 per participant, and this includes the workshop itself, a copy of The Active Workshop, a useful and practical workshop guidebook, a continental breakfast, a boxed lunch, and a certificate of attendance provided at the end of the day. A small workshop store will sell copies of Ron’s books, along with other books and resources.
